Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch. One of my favourite albums of the past couple of years. A truly original sound I can't really pigeonhole with other bands. Brilliant musicianship from all, soaring vocals - I think I once heard it described as 'an intoxicating mix'. Short tracks but they pack so much variation into a couple of minutes - lyrical to grunge choppy chords in a few seconds. Brilliant.
