keithbjones The Gong/Beefheart/Gentle Giant - like resonances displaced a little into a more mature sound - but still great fun with solid critique of dysfunctional results of neoliberal dominance - gives us hope!

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Bizarre! Sometimes an album shakes me up, like "Errr... good grief, what the **** is that?!" I'm 61 years old now, listening to music for around 50 years, so those moments of surprise have become a rare pleasure. I can't compare this music to something else I've known before, because I don't feel any associations while listening, except that its weirdness is somewhat related to various bands in the realm of the "Cardiacs". By the way, this album is from M.Foujita's collection of awesomeness. Favorite track: Strange Times to be Human.

belch1889 What I love about PsychoYogi is that their songs might be complex but they don't half stick in your head - earworm-tastic! I've played them a few times on my show, The Progressive Alternative, including the latest one which is up on Mixcloud right now - www.mixcloud.com/belch1889/the-progressive-alternative-124-brooklands-radio-september-17th-2019-heroic-defeats-mardy-bums/

1.
Life is confusing, strange and abusing, now we're defining new ways of losing.
2.
Here on our own, we can heighten our senses, unhook the phone, there's no need to explain, accident prone, on a planet where everyone suffers in vain.
3.
The View 04:22
Time has no meaning, its a fabrication, figment of the human mind, rhyme has no value within conversation, lately I've been feeling lonely
4.
No need to mingle in the crown, haven't any obligation, why contribute and shout aloud, why suffer with the nation.
5.
How can we trust in the future of humanity? overcome by lust and vanity, don't know who we are and what we want to be, only to embrace stupidity, how can we be happy and free?
6.
Opulent Trip 04:32
Now we're fed from a drip by the corporate whip, we'll go down with the ship on this opulent trip, held in apathy's grip and it's hard to unzip and the fabric of justice beginning to rip, heed the slope of destruction we're starting to slip, don't put faith don't put trust ina digital chip, don't be slave to the master we must reequip.
7.
Time passes by, just like the wind, don't waste it, must taste it, let life begin.
8.
Evening Call 03:12
Nobody comes to see me, I don't understand why, standing on the table, just trying to get high, steadily I'm climbing, better check my timing, I'd like to go out dancing but I ain't got a tie.
9.
Now you expand more, there is a big demand for, trivia and corporate new's, much propaganda, another gerrymander, anarchy in corporate shoes.
10.
The Plan 03:26
With dedication there is nothing that we can't complete, give attention as we care for it so lovingly, satisfaction of completion will be tasting sweet, it's even better if you like what you see.

"There is never a dull moment throughout this innovative and captivating release." Martin Hutchinson, Pogradar.

"I tried to draw parallels between Accident Prone and the classic prog bands in my collection, but instead of any direct comparison the closest I got was a vision of Gentle Giant recording a soundtrack to Tim Burton's stop-motion animation about a haunted circus with Frank Zappa occasionally wandering into the room and that’s definitely a positive description!. I found it irresistibly refreshing how the music has the somewhat familiar vibe of jazzy progressive rock but also is progressive in the sense of being still completely different and quite impossible to categories" Juuso Karhunen.

Accident Prone is the latest offering from PsychoYogi - The album features 10 songs to enjoy. Lovingly composed for your listening pleasure.

The music is challenging, though accessible. Containing an abundance of unusual time signatures and rich chord
structures for your musical imagination, with lyrics that question western social values.
