Digital Vagrancy

stevedr62 I only found the band on here last week but make no mistake, Digital Vagrancy is a terrific album. I was at first reminded of my misspent youth clutching Gong's Radio Gnome on the one hand and a Morrocan Woodbine on the other, but PsychoYogi are so much more than that with a social, political and whimsical slant, delivered with great skill and lucidity. Just think of a student wandering into a formal woodworking class dragging a piece of scrap iron. This is epoch making, the real music of today. Favorite track: Guiding Light.

ruggero formenti Wonderful jazz-rock work from this underrated prog band, with irony, some Zappa influences and canterbury school leanings.Great.

Carsten Pieper Another great release by the good people of Bad Elephant Music from another band that hitherto was completely unknown to me.
Well, often the best music isn't easily describable, right? Full of melodic/harmonic/rhythmical twists and, in a good way, very quirky. Add a good measure of jazzy spices and a little folky stuff and you got, hm, something quite Canterburian. Post-Canterbury perhaps...? ;-) Favorite track: The River.

Darko Flagg What a trip. Wonderful compositions lyrics and the band plays superb. Freudian Neitchean Daevid Allen type intelligent lyrical manglement keeps the head open for many many relistens. Drummer is on some Henry Cow plane and the sax glues the bits ..motifs beut little lines . i Love this band.

Rich Robinson In a nutshell awesome, such intelligent, interesting music is getting harder to find in an instant pleasure seeking world. Favorite track: A Dangerous Path.

Andreas Hold Digital Vagrancy - Chris Ramsing and his band Psychoyogi produced another masterpiece. Not easy listening but music that needs attention. The more you listen to it, the more you will find surprising sequences. So Digital Vagrancy includes not one favorite track but twelve. Very best rating!

The music is challenging, though accessible. Containing an abundance of unusual time signatures and rich chord
structures for your musical imagination, with lyrics that question western social values.
